Program on Differential Diagnostics of Diseases
of Red Blood Cells
Anemia Program (AP)
The AP is
intended for the physicians who will be using it for blood and
lymphatic systems review in the context of general examination of a patient.
The AP is a concise, practical tool of differential diagnostics designed
to facilitate the work of physicians and all those who are occupied with specific
problems of red blood cells diseases.
On the other hand, the AP may also be used as a source of useful reference
materials for both teacher and student, as well as the basis for drawing up examples
of quiz and examination questions and also as a means of self-training/checking.
How do I
make a diagnosis?
- Begin with the available database. It consists of two parts- Diagnoses and Symptoms - and contains a great deal of information about symptoms
and signs pertaining to different pathological conditions of the blood.
- When you look through Symptoms that are of the most
importance to your tentative diagnosis, the AP selects them on the basis
of their significance.
- Note, you can interrupt searching at all times.
- Once a search is over, the AP displays the list
of the most likely nosological forms and, what is remarkable, these are presented
in decreasing order of their significance.
- When viewing a questionary document, you can print,
export or save to a file.
- Among other functions of the AP , provision is
made for interactive learning by expert.
The AP is easy to learn; the user does not need any computer experience
to get started.
